Scripture Mastery Contest: Who can complete the verse the fastest?
Go to: http://seminary.lds.org/scripture-mastery/. Click on “Memorize”. Choose one of the first 10 scripture mastery verses from the New Testament. Click on “Next” in the upper right hand corner to go to Step 2. Use the mouse to drag the words from the word bank on the right side to the correct place in the verse on the left side. When you have completed the verse, the timer will stop. Save your fastest time either by printing a paper copy of what’s on the screen, or hitting the “PrtSc” key and then pasting the screen image into a word document or email. If you want to improve your time, feel free to repeat the exercise. There will be cool beans on January 5th & 6th for the person with the fastest time for each scripture mastery verse.

- Read carefully to understand the scriptures.
- Study every day.
- Study in a place where you can concentrate without distractions or interruptions.
- Study for a period of time rather than reading a certain amount of chapters or pages: 60 minutes is ideal, 30 minutes is a great accomplishment, yet 15 minutes can be meaningful also.
- Have a study plan.
